Department of English , English Alumni Association was inaugurated on 22^nd February 2009 at Mathura Paradise in Shimoga district.

Mr.Abdul Rashid, Well-known Writer inaugurated the Alumni Association.  Prof.Rajendra Chenni,Dr.Rachel Bari, Dr.Namratha and Alumni special guest Mr.Chennappa were the chief persons of this occasion.

Alumni from the year 1988 to till 2007 witnessed this occasion.

                           Few alumni shared their old cherishing memories with the gathering and added colour for the event. Delicious food was enjoyed by the gathering .

                                  In the afternoon, We selected the office bearers of the alumni association with the presence of around 50 alumni.
